IT’S NIGHT BEFORE THE MILE RACE DAY AT LINCOLN SPEEDWAY!
One of the busiest motorsports weekends in Central Illinois takes the first green flag of the weekend tonight at Lincoln Speedway as we motor into the Illinois State Fair Racing Weekend. On tap at the 1/4 mile semi-banked speed plant are the 410 Non-Winged Sprint Cars known for tremendous 2 and 3 wide racing and spectacular wheel stands.
Round 9 of the Midwest Big Ten Series UMP Pro Crate Late Models brings in a tight point chase for the series title as well as a tight track championship fight.
The track points are a dead heat in the Modifieds between father Brian and son Austin Lynn and should feature high excitement and great racing with them and a stout field of cars.
The Nutech Seed DII Midgets by Bailey Chassis Co. is known for it’s consistently good racing and quality fields of cars it brings.
What better way to kick off the racing weekend at the Illinois State Fair with a great night of racing just a short trip down I-55 from Springfield to the Logan County Fairgrounds for a full night of racing excitement as the 410 Non-Wing Sprint Cars make their final appearance at the track in 2018!
