Macon & Lincoln Speedway Racecars Set To Return To Hickory Point Mall

March 17-19 Car Show To Kickstart Season (Macon, IL) Officials from Macon Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, as well as Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth, IL are pleased to announce the return of the season preview car show. The show is set to return Friday, March 17-Sunday, March 19. The car show is open to any regular competitors that race at Macon Speedway or Lincoln Speedway, as well as those from traveling series that compete at either of the tracks. The show will be three days long with cars entering on Thursday, March 16 at 8 PM and exiting on Sunday, March 19 at 5 PM. The show is a great benefit to those who like to display their newly prepared rides before receiving battle scars from on track action. MOWA SPRINTS INVADE LINCOLN FOR “NIGHT BEFORE THE MILE” ACTION

August 16, 2022 (Lincoln, IL) – After losing an earlier season event scheduled at Lincoln Speedway to rain, the Morrow Brothers Ford MOWA Sprint Car Series will return to the ¼-mile at the Logan County Fairgrounds this Friday, August 19, 2022. It’s all part of a huge weekend of racing in Central Illinois. In 15 events contested at Lincoln Speedway, 11 drivers have won events with the #MOWASprints. Fan favorites, Rico Abreu and Paul Nienhiser each have three MOWA Sprint Car Series wins at Lincoln. Other drivers to win events at Lincoln include AJ Bruns, Carson Macedo, Christopher Bell, Ian Madsen, Jake Neuman, Jerrod Hull, Jimmy Hurley, Korey Weyant and Willie Croft. July 15th Event Canceled

(Lincoln, IL) Morning rain showers mixed with an unfavorable forecast for the rest of the day has led to the cancellation of the Friday, July 15 Built Ford Tough MOWA Sprint Car event at Lincoln Speedway. Four other divisions were also scheduled to race. MOWA is scheduled to return to the ¼-mile dirt track on Friday, August 19 as part of the State Fair race weekend which begins at Lincoln Speedway on Friday night, followed by Illinois State Fair racing on Saturday afternoon featuring the USAC Silver Crown cars. Macon Speedway will host a POWRi Midget event on Saturday night of that weekend before the Sunday afternoon ARCA Menards Series Atlas 100.
