Macon & Lincoln Speedway Racecars Set To Return To Hickory Point Mall

March 17-19 Car Show To Kickstart Season (Macon, IL) Officials from Macon Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, as well as Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth, IL are pleased to announce the return of the season preview car show. The show is set to return Friday, March 17-Sunday, March 19. The car show is open to any regular competitors that race at Macon Speedway or Lincoln Speedway, as well as those from traveling series that compete at either of the tracks. The show will be three days long with cars entering on Thursday, March 16 at 8 PM and exiting on Sunday, March 19 at 5 PM. The show is a great benefit to those who like to display their newly prepared rides before receiving battle scars from on track action. Macon Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, & Big Ten Banquet Date January 7, 2023

(Macon, IL) With the 2022 racing season in the rear-view mirror and drivers looking ahead to 2023, officials from the Track Enterprises office have announced the awards banquet date for Macon Speedway as well as Lincoln Speedway.  This year’s ceremony will include both tracks as well as the three Midwest Big Ten Series. The event will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel. On the Lincoln Speedway side, Jose Parga, of New Berlin, IL, again took the Pro Late Model championship. In the Modifieds, Ashland, IL driver Brandon Roberts won his second title at the speedway. Springfield, IL’s Daltyn England took the top spot in the Simplot DII Midget class for the first time, while Billy Mason, of Brownstown, IL, garnered the Hornet championship. DIRTcar LATE MODEL – Eric Spangler Making the haul all the way from Lake City, MI, to compete, 2022 DIRTcar East Region champion Eric Spangler came to Lincoln for one reason – win. Time was wearing thin on his quest to move up in the national points standings, and he made the most of the opportunity. By the end of the 25-lap Feature, not only had he won the race – he dominated. Jordan DeLucia September 30, 2022 Twenty-seventh annual event begins racing Friday with four different divisions The champions and championship contenders have officially arrived at Lincoln Speedway for the 27th annual DIRTcar Fall Nationals and are off to a strong start after an evening of practice for the 56 cars in attendance at the 1/4-mile bullring. The DIRTcar Pro Late Model division consistently delivers some of the closest, most competitive racing seen all year, and this weekend will be no exception. Leading the charge with the fastest lap in all three sessions was 2021 East Region champion Billy Knippenberg, turning in a 14.384 to top the chart. Last year, Knippenberg had a strong showing at Fall Nationals, bagging two top-five finishes over the weekend and a podium finish on Saturday night. Early Entries Coming In For Lincoln Speedway DIRTcar Fall Nationals

(Lincoln, IL) It’s officially race week for the 27th running of the DIRTcar Fall Nationals at Lincoln Speedway and the early entries continue to pour in. The ¼-mile track, located at the Logan County Fairgrounds in Lincoln, IL, is playing host to the season ending national event for the third season in-a-row. While the weekend begins on Thursday with a late afternoon/evening practice for all divisions, the actual race nights are set for Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1. Friday’s action will feature DIRTcar Pro Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Modifieds, and Stock Cars (Street Stocks). Saturday’s action will see DIRTcar Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Modifieds, and Sport Compacts (Hornets).
