Day #2 Of DIRTcar Fall Nationals Postponed To Spring 2021

Day #2 of the DIRTcar Fall Nationals at Lincoln Speedway, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, has been postponed due to afternoon rainfall and the forecast for more during the evening hours. The event will be run in the Spring of 2021 as an early season special. Fans and teams are reminded to keep their two and three day wristbands to receive gate entry at the Spring 2021 event. Those who lose them will have to pay again for admission. In other Central Illinois racing news, the Springfield Mile event at the Illinois State Fairgrounds is a go for Sunday afternoon. The DIRTcar Sportsman will be on track at 12:00 noon for their feature event, while the ARCA Menards Series will go green at 2:00 PM for the Illinois Truck & Equipment Allen Crowe 100. DIRTcar National Points Battles Intensify in Night #1 of Fall Nationals at Lincoln

Late Models, Sport Compacts on the racing card for Saturday’s finale LINCOLN, IL – Oct. 2, 2020 – A grand total of 115 DIRTcar racers filled the Lincoln Speedway pit area Friday night for race #1 of the 2020 DIRTcar Fall Nationals – the new stage for DIRTcar Racing’s year-end points championship event. With two major points battles still left to be decided heading into the weekend, one of those gaps is now even tighter and the other remains the closest national points championship battle out of all nine divisions under the DIRTcar banner. Lincoln Speedway Test / Play Day Sunday September 20

Lincoln Speedway will be hosting a Play Day / Test & Tune this coming Sunday, September 20 for those who would like to get some track time for the Fall Nationals or give someone else a chance to try out their car.   Cost is $100 per car, which includes 2 pit passes. Additional pit passes will be sold at the gate. Grandstand admission is free.   Pits will open at 2:00 while on track activity will run from 3:00-6:00.   Teams who would like to register ahead of time online via credit card, give us a call at 217-764-3200. Registration at the track on Sunday is fine as well.

LINCOLN, IL – Sept. 10, 2020 – Six divisions. Five champions. Three nights. One exciting event at a brand-new venue for 2020. Lincoln Speedway Set For Brandt Season Championship Night

Friday Night Action Features Six Divisions Of Racing (Lincoln, IL) The 2020 point champions will be decided this coming Friday night, September 4 at Lincoln Speedway. The Logan County Fairgrounds track, located in Lincoln, IL has had a strong 2020 season, boasting solid car counts and great racing all year long. Friday night’s Brandt Season Championship night, is the final regular season night, leading up to the October 1-3 DIRTcar Fall Nationals. One of the tightest point battles heading into the night is in the Nutech Seed DII Midget class. POWRi Midgets Set For Only Lincoln Speedway Appearance Friday Night

Illinois Speedweek Expected To See Large Fields Of Open Wheelers (Lincoln, IL) Open wheel fans have a great weekend of action ahead of them as the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget league is set for three great nights of racing, starting Friday night at Lincoln Speedway. It’s all part of Illnois Speedweek “Take 3” which also includes Macon Speedway Saturday and Jacksonville Speedway Sunday. The weekend was previously scheduled for June but the pandemic eliminated that opportunity.  It was then scheduled for July 31 – August 2 before being was washed out by the rain. POWRi Officials have worked hard with all three tracks to reschedule this spectacular event for the drivers and race fans.
