Test & Tune Days Next For Central Illinois Race Tracks

Macon Speedway & Lincoln Speedway Set For Weekend Practice (Macon, IL) Many drivers in Central Illinois are getting set for their first on track activity, Saturday and Sunday, March 27-28, with test and tune days at Macon Speedway and Lincoln Speedway.  Drivers and teams use the days to fine tune their cars, fill out their registration sheets, and get comfortable back behind the wheel after a long winter. Macon Speedway will open the pits this Saturday, March 27 at 11:00 AM and have cars on track from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM.  Cars, of any division, that compete at Macon Speedway are welcome.  Pit admission is $25, while grandstand admission is free. Lincoln Speedway Announces Exciting 2021 Season Schedule

Season Will Start And End With DIRTcar National Events (Lincoln, IL) Lincoln Speedway officials are pleased to announce the 2021 tentative season schedule, filled with plenty of big events. The track, located at the Logan County Fairgrounds in Lincoln, IL, will host numerous special events throughout the year including a season opening make-up event from the 2020 DIRTcar Fall Nationals and the season ending 2021 DIRTcar Fall Nationals. The action will begin with two test and tune events for competitors on Sunday, March 28 and Thursday, April 8. Day #2 Of DIRTcar Fall Nationals Postponed To Spring 2021

Day #2 of the DIRTcar Fall Nationals at Lincoln Speedway, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, has been postponed due to afternoon rainfall and the forecast for more during the evening hours. The event will be run in the Spring of 2021 as an early season special. Fans and teams are reminded to keep their two and three day wristbands to receive gate entry at the Spring 2021 event. Those who lose them will have to pay again for admission. In other Central Illinois racing news, the Springfield Mile event at the Illinois State Fairgrounds is a go for Sunday afternoon. The DIRTcar Sportsman will be on track at 12:00 noon for their feature event, while the ARCA Menards Series will go green at 2:00 PM for the Illinois Truck & Equipment Allen Crowe 100. DIRTcar National Points Battles Intensify in Night #1 of Fall Nationals at Lincoln

Pro Modified, Stock Car national champions to be decided this weekend LINCOLN, IL – Oct. 1, 2020 – Six divisions of DIRTcar Racing’s finest talent hit the quarter-mile high banks of Lincoln Speedway for practice night at the DIRTcar Fall Nationals’ new home Thursday night, in preparation for the final weekend of national points competition for the year. Fifty-one cars total made it out for the evening’s Hot Lap sessions between all divisions, consisting of DIRTcar Late Models, Pro Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Pro Modifieds, Stock Cars and Sport Compacts.
