​Lincoln IL Speedway Officials Announce Exciting 2017 Schedule

All Star Sprints, POWRi, Summer Nationals, USAC, MOWA, & More To Appear The 14th season of racing is just around the corner at Lincoln Speedway, at the Logan County Fairgrounds in Lincoln, IL and now fans, teams, and drivers can mark their schedules as the dates have been released.  The slate is action packed with Winged Sprints, Super Late Models, National Midgets, Wingless Sprints, and plenty of action from the UMP sanctioned weekly divisions. The 2017 campaign will begin on Friday, April 21 with a five division show at the Season Opening Door Buster.  On tap will be the UMP Pro Late Models, Modifieds, and Hornets along with the POWRi DII Midgets Presented by Nutech Seed.  Headlining the show will be the opening event for the Midwest Street Stock Championship Series as they run the Railsplitter 40. Midwest Big Ten Series Releases 2017 Schedules

Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, & Street Stocks On The Docket Midwest Big Ten Series officials have announced the 2017 schedules for all three divisions of racing.  This year, drivers, teams, and fans will see many of the same popular Illinois venues along with the addition of one more.  The Midwest Big Ten Series was created in 2013 to give Super Late Model teams a schedule of ten solid regional races with a point fund waiting at the end.  Street Stocks were added in 2014, while Pro Late Models came the following year.  All three classes saw improved car counts and racing in 2016. The premier class of the Midwest Big Ten Series, the Super Late Models, will see ten events at a record six tracks in 2017.  The familiar stops of Macon, Quincy, Jacksonville, Lincoln, and Belle-Clair are back from a season ago.  New this year is a …

The exciting 2017 schedule for Lincoln Speedway will be unveiled at the 2017 Midwest Speed Expo in Springfield, IL. The 14th Annual MIDWEST SPEED EXPO is set for Saturday & Sunday, January 14/15. 2017 All Star Circuit Of Champions Coming Back To Lincoln & Macon

Lincoln Speedway & Macon Speedway Set For June Double Header INDIANAPOLIS (12/12/2016) – The All Star Circuit of Champions will take on a full slate of competition in 2017, complete with 51 events at 32 facilities in eight states, all of which taking shape between early February and mid-October. All Star competitors will visit facilities throughout much of the upper Midwest and Northeast during their upcoming travels, circling areas of Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and New York. As customary, the 2017 season will ignite with an eight-day campaign in the Sunshine State, complete with five events between February 9 and February 16 at Bubba Raceway Park and Volusia Speedway Park.  Two Central Illinois visits are also on tap. $5 Grandstand Admission Announced For Lincoln IL Speedway Season Finale

This Friday’s Season Championship Night Features Six Classes It’s hard to believe but just one night remains on the 2016-schedule at Lincoln IL Speedway and it’s coming up this Friday, September 2.  The season championship finale will be a great night for fans to bring their whole family, friends, neighbors, and more, as admission through the front gate is just $5 per person.  Fans will see a full six division show plus kids will receive goody bags. Lincoln Speedway attempted a similar $5 fan appreciation night for August 12 but the event was rained out.  For that event, fans had to pick up vouchers from area businesses to receive the reduced admission.  At this week’s event, the vouchers are not necessary to receive the reduced admission.  The $5 admission night this Friday is to give fans thanks for their support during the first season of Track Enterprises promotions at the …

Pierce Takes Advantage Of Blown Tire To Claim $5,000 At Lincoln IL Speedway

Some of the best in dirt car racing converged on Lincoln IL Speedway on Thursday, August 25, for the Summer Nationals makeup of the Graue Chevrolet Showdown for a strong field of 32 Late Models in addition to the Summit National Modifieds, and B-Mods. The headline show of the night was the Graue Chevrolet Showdown for the UMP and MARS Super Late Models.  Ryan Unzicker and Brent Larson started up front with Summer Nationals frontrunners, Bobby Pierce and Jason Feger.  Action got hot and heavy right away with Unzicker leading lap one before Larson was able to scoot by.  Larson remained out front for the first four laps before Pierce used a three wide pass to head to the front.  The Oakwood, IL driver set the pace for the next eleven laps before Feger flew by.  Feger went on to set a blistering pace for a major portion of the …
