MOWA Sprints To Open Season July 17/18 With Lincoln/Macon Doubleheader

(Jacksonville, IL) The Built Ford Tough MOWA 410 Winged Sprint Cars should be about ½-way through their 2020 campaign right now. However, COVID-19 took over and caused a major delay that is about to end with the 2020 season opening weekend, Friday and Saturday, July 17/18 at two Central Illinois racetracks.   Lincoln Speedway, located at the Logan County Fairgrounds, in Lincoln, IL, will be the site of the season opener on Friday, July 17. The date was actually on the original schedule but will now serve as opening night for the popular series. Lynn, Johnson, Eskew, & Vanapeldoorn Claim Holiday Wins At Lincoln Speedway

(Lincoln, IL) For the fourth night in a row, Lincoln Speedway was back at it for racing action at Logan County Fairgrounds. The July 3rd event featured not only racing but fireworks as well and neither disappointed. The open competition Midgets were on hand for the first time in 2020. Drivers from six different states were represented, with Emerson Axsom of Franklin, IN leading the first six laps. On lap seven, St. Peters, MO driver Sam Johnson moved into the top spot to pace the field in the 20-lap event. Racing And Fireworks On Tap For Friday Night At Lincoln Speedway

(Lincoln, IL) It will be a holiday weekend celebration of racing and fireworks this Friday night, July 3 at Lincoln Speedway. In addition to the first visit from open, national type Midgets in 2020, DIRTcar Pro Late Models, DIRTcar Modifieds, and Hornets will also be in action. A fireworks show will light the sky at the end of the show. Headlining the event will be the first visit for the national type, open Midgets. Bollinger Wins Second In-A-Row At Lincoln Speedway

(Lincoln, IL) For the third straight weekend, Lincoln Speedway was back at it for some great dirt track racing at the Logan County Fairgrounds, in Lincoln, IL. Five divisions were on track, headlined by 24 cars in the DIRTcar Modifieds. Carter Sinkhorn and Austin Lynn brought the 23-car Modified field to the green flag for the 20-lap feature event with Lynn racing into the early lead. 305 Sprint Cars Again To Join Lincoln Speedway Regulars Friday

Typically an every other week track, speedway officials are running a good number of events in-a-row to make up for lost time in April and May. Action Thrills Fans On Night #2 At Lincoln Speedway

(Lincoln, IL) Another great turnout of racecars and fans were on hand for the second night of the 2020 season, this past Friday, June 19 at Lincoln Speedway. Six divisions of action put on another great show, headlined by the first visit of the 305 Sprint Cars. In the 18-lap 305 Sprint Car Feature, Garrett Duff, of Weldon, IL, took the lead from the pole position. Behind him, Robbie Standridge, of Springfield, IL, was running the top of the track mounting a challenge for the top spot. 305 Sprint Cars To Headline Friday Night Action At Lincoln Speedway

(Lincoln, IL) Lincoln Speedway, located at the Logan County Fairgrounds in Lincoln, IL, will continue its 2020 season on Friday night, June 19, with a full six division show. Headlining the event will be the 305 Sprint Cars. The event will mark the second event of the season, after the track had a highly successful opening last Friday night.
