Lincoln Speedway Test / Play Day Sunday September 20

Lincoln Speedway will be hosting a Play Day / Test & Tune this coming Sunday, September 20 for those who would like to get some track time for the Fall Nationals or give someone else a chance to try out their car.   Cost is $100 per car, which includes 2 pit passes. Additional pit passes will be sold at the gate. Grandstand admission is free.   Pits will open at 2:00 while on track activity will run from 3:00-6:00.   Teams who would like to register ahead of time online via credit card, give us a call at 217-764-3200. Registration at the track on Sunday is fine as well.

DIRTcar Fall Nationals Driver Registration, Tickets, Camping and More Now Available

LINCOLN, IL – Sept. 10, 2020 – Six divisions. Five champions. Three nights. One exciting event at a brand-new venue for 2020. Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, IL, is set to crown five DIRTcar National points champions as host of the 2020 DIRTcar Fall Nationals, Oct. 1-3. Lincoln Speedway Set For Brandt Season Championship Night

Friday Night Action Features Six Divisions Of Racing (Lincoln, IL) The 2020 point champions will be decided this coming Friday night, September 4 at Lincoln Speedway. The Logan County Fairgrounds track, located in Lincoln, IL has had a strong 2020 season, boasting solid car counts and great racing all year long. Friday night’s Brandt Season Championship night, is the final regular season night, leading up to the October 1-3 DIRTcar Fall Nationals. One of the tightest point battles heading into the night is in the Nutech Seed DII Midget class. Ewing & Diveley Among Top Lincoln Speedway Winners Friday

(Lincoln, IL) For the fifth Friday night in-a-row, entertainment was on center stage at the Logan County Fairgrounds ¼-mile dirt track, Lincoln Speedway. Another strong turnout of cars put on a great show for the fans in the stands. The most exciting feature of the night came from the DIRTcar Pro Late Models. 17 drivers took the green flag with Jose Parga leading the way for the early laps. Teammate Dakota Ewing was pressuring up front and took the lead away on lap five. Parga ran in the top five until he spun while trying to pass a lap car in turn one, on lap eleven. Back to green, it was Ewing and Brandon Eskew putting on some top notch entertainment at the front of the pack. Slidejob after slidejob, the two drivers were racing hard for the lead. It is RACE DAY at Lincoln Speedway!

We are off to a great start for the 2020 racing season. After the first four events were canceled due to COVID-19, speedway officials decided to run every week, for the first six Fridays, to make up what was lost. The decision has worked out nicely as great fields of cars, solid crowds, and great racing has been a mainstay. It all continues this tonight with five divisions of action.
